As an artist, this particular piece was a personal challenge on a technical level. To capture the iconic vibrant colours and intricate feathers of a Gang Gang Cockatoo was something I only recently felt I had the skill to tackle. I am really proud of the end result and the eye strain was totally worth it!. I've been asked to paint a Gang Gang Cocky many times and I'm so happy I've finally got my very own version of this amazing bird out in the world.
